Triangles of rare 1800-1850 calicos - more than a dozen woodblock, copperplate and roller prints - are bordered by a luscious chintz with its bright glaze intact.  These fabrics are almost impossible to find in any condition; the examples in this quilt are as bright as when they were new. Late 19th century muslin backing folded to front to bind; thin cotton batting.
