Classic authentic antique c.1900-1920 reds, indigos, cadet blue, "mourning" prints and a fabulous claret-on-white shirting combine in this crisp little quilt. Thin cotton batting; contemporary muslin backing; heirloom machine quilted in quatrefoil and diamond grid designs; Congo red hand-finished binding.  "Antiqued" with my own special dye formula to give the effect of mottling and foxing.
